Compare couch sizes

The biggest difference between our lines is seat cushion width. Seating depth is the same on every couch: 24 inches of true seating depth, accounting for compressed backrest cushion thickness.

Standard

27-inch seat cushions on classic fixed frames. Tailored proportions that suit most rooms.

Oversized

36-inch seat cushions on wider, deeper frames. Lounge-scale comfort for bigger spaces.

Modular

31-inch square cushions on identical connecting pieces. Rearrange, add on, or reconfigure anytime.

Map pin on Salt Lake City, Utah

Made in Salt Lake City, Utah

Every Vera Haus sectional is built by hand in our Salt Lake City workshop - cut, stitched and assembled by people who sign off on every frame. Vera Haus carries a heritage of furniture making that goes back decades, and it has always been done right here in the USA.

Because your couch is made to order just for you, it currently ships within 1-2 weeks of your order.

White glove delivery team placing a sectional

Delivery, two ways

Curbside delivery is free on orders over $2,000 and typically arrives within 4-8 business days after leaving our warehouse.

White glove delivery is installed in your home for you: the team brings each piece inside, places it where you want it and clears away the packaging. The usual wait is around 2-3 weeks, however timing is not guaranteed. During the holiday season wait times can be as long as 1-2 months, and remote areas may experience even longer waits. We cannot guarantee on-time delivery with the white glove option.

Toddler sitting on a plush couch

A lifetime warranty, because couches are for living on

Our couches are built for families, not showrooms. Toddler-grade durability means kiln-dried hardwood frames, reinforced seams and machine-washable covers that shrug off climbing, crashing and couch-fort engineering.

If a frame, seam or mechanism ever fails under normal family life, we make it right - for as long as you own it. (Crayon masterpieces not covered - that's what washable covers are for.)

What’s the difference?

Sectional vs Modular

Sectionals

More affordable, but limited to the shape you choose now. Sectionals are built in as few pieces as possible to reduce seams, so the silhouette stays clean and tailored for life. The right call when you know your layout and want the most couch for your money.

Modular

Modulars come in individual square pieces, giving you near infinite possibilities. Make a U-shaped couch today, an L-shape tomorrow, or split it into two and put a coffee table in between. We only use the strongest and most secure connectors to keep your base solid and prevent it coming apart without intention.

If you’re seeking a chaise without a seam but you prefer modular, choose our extended chaise cushion on any modular item page.
