LIMITED MANUFACTURING WARRANTY

This Limited Manufacturing Warranty applies to all VeraHaus Sectionals purchased directly from verahaussectionals.com.

1. Warranty Coverage Period

VeraHaus Sectionals provides a five (5) year limited manufacturing warranty beginning on the date of delivery.

This warranty applies only to manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.

2. What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers defects that are the direct result of manufacturing or construction issues, including:

  • Structural defects in the frame caused by faulty workmanship or material failure

  • Defects in joinery, including full alder stress joints, that compromise the structural integrity of the couch

  • Manufacturing defects in cushion cores related to improper construction or material failure

  • Defects in stitching, seams, or upholstery construction that result from manufacturing error

  • Defects in removable covers that are the result of manufacturing error, not use or care

If a covered defect is confirmed, VeraHaus Sectionals will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the defective component

  • Replace the defective component

  • Replace the product with a comparable item

  • Provide another reasonable solution deemed appropriate by VeraHaus Sectionals

3. What This Warranty Does NOT Cover

This warranty does not cover damage, defects, or issues resulting from any of the following:

Normal Wear and Tear

  • Fabric wear, pilling, fading, or softening over time

  • Cushion softening, compression, or changes in feel due to normal use

  • Minor variations in fabric color, texture, or finish

  • Natural aging of materials

Misuse, Abuse, or Negligence

  • Jumping, standing, or climbing on the couch

  • Excessive weight beyond normal residential use

  • Use in commercial, rental, or hospitality settings

  • Improper handling, moving, or storage

  • Damage caused by pets including scratching, chewing, or digging

  • Damage caused by children misusing the furniture

Improper Care or Maintenance

  • Failure to follow care instructions

  • Improper washing, drying, or cleaning of covers

  • Use of harsh chemicals, cleaners, solvents, or bleach

  • Exposure to excessive moisture or humidity

  • Damage caused by spills left untreated for extended periods

Accidental or External Damage

  • Stains, burns, tears, cuts, or punctures

  • Damage caused by fire, water, flooding, or natural disasters

  • Damage caused by sunlight exposure or heat sources

  • Damage caused by moving services or third parties

Modifications or Unauthorized Repairs

  • Alterations or repairs not authorized by VeraHaus Sectionals

  • Replacement parts not provided or approved by VeraHaus Sectionals

4. Fabric and Cushion Disclaimer

Fabric durability ratings and stain resistance do not make fabrics damage-proof. All fabrics will show signs of use over time.

Cushion materials are designed to resist sagging under normal residential use. Changes in firmness, softness, or comfort over time are not considered manufacturing defects.

5. Delivery, Handling, and Installation

This warranty does not cover damage that occurs during or after delivery due to:

  • Improper installation or assembly

  • Failure to inspect the product upon delivery

  • Damage not reported within 48 hours of delivery

Any visible damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photo documentation.

Failure for customer to verify couch fitment upon arrival of products and find they do not fit, will result in a handling and restocking fee of 15% of the total order value.

6. Warranty Claim Process

To submit a warranty claim, the original purchaser must:

  • Provide proof of purchase

  • Submit clear photos and a written description of the issue

  • Allow reasonable access for inspection if requested

VeraHaus Sectionals reserves the right to determine whether the issue qualifies as a manufacturing defect.

7. Limitation of Liability

This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective component only.

VeraHaus Sectionals is not responsible for:

  • Incidental or consequential damages

  • Loss of use

  • Personal injury

  • Property damage beyond the product itself

8. Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

9. Warranty Void Conditions

This warranty is void if the product is:

  • Used for commercial purposes

  • Subjected to misuse, abuse, or negligence

  • Modified without authorization

  • Not maintained according to care guidelines

10. Final Terms

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary by state.

By purchasing a VeraHaus Sectional, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Limited Manufacturing Warranty.
